Job Description

  • Department: Quality Control and Quality Assurance

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, or related scientific field
  • Work Experience: 0–2 years laboratory experience (internships or academic projects count)
  • Location: Borongajska cesta 83H, 10000 Zagreb

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine quality control testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products using HPLC, GC, LC-MS/MS, and other techniques
  • Execute validated analytical methods and ensure accurate, reliable results
  • Prepare and standardize reagents, solutions, and reference standards
  • Document test results, maintain detailed laboratory records, and report deviations or out-of-specification results
  • Support method transfers from R&D to QC and assist in troubleshooting analytical issues
  • Ensure all QC activities comply with GMP, GLP, ISO 17025, and ISO 9001 standards
  • Calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment
  • Participate in laboratory housekeeping, inventory management, and safety procedures
  • Assist in internal audits, stability studies, and method validation activities
  • Collaborate with QA and R&D teams to support product release and quality investigations

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biology, or related field
  • Hands-on experience with analytical techniques (HPLC, GC, titration, spectroscopy preferred)
  • Understanding of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
  • Familiarity with quality control documentation and laboratory safety protocols
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and analytical thinking
  • Ability to work accurately under time constraints and follow standard procedures
  • Good communication skills in English (written and verbal)
  • Team player with eagerness to learn and grow in a regulated environment
